Dynamic Inspection Limited's new 4 lane metal detection system. Product is randomly presented to the detector where it is separated into 4 lanes which travel through a single search head. The Fortress search head is comprised of 4 separate apertures with a single item being inspected by each one. The main advantage of this approach is that there is only minimal widening of the conveyor belt to accommodate a single search head as opposed to installing 4 individual metal detectors. All 4 heads are controlled from the one control panel which streamlines operator access. Individual items are inspected and rejected via a raise flap reject system in to a reject bin.

The Fortress detector establishes a new industry Standard and is capable of detecting down to 0.3mm ferrous, 0.4mm non ferrous and 0.5mm stainless steel.
